Effective 6 October 2026
These terms cover use of the Event Sentinel Discord bot and the dashboard at this site. Adding the bot to a server, or signing in to the dashboard, means you accept them.
Event Sentinel posts a record of server events into channels a server admin chooses, and it offers a dashboard for those settings. The bot and the dashboard are provided as they are available. Features can change, and the bot owner can turn the dashboard off.
A server admin decides which events are logged, which channel receives them, and who in that server can read that channel. Admins are responsible for their own members, for telling those members what the server logs, and for following Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Event Sentinel is a tool for that server. It does not run the server.
Do not use the bot or the dashboard to break the law, to break Discord’s rules, or to interfere with the service. That includes trying to get into an account or a server you cannot manage, flooding the login page, or using logged message content in a way the server’s members were not told about. Access can be refused where use puts the bot, other servers, or Discord at risk.
Sign-in is through Discord. You can only open settings for servers you can manage where this bot is a member. Signing out ends that session. The dashboard can be unavailable while it is turned off or while Discord sign-in is not set up.
Event logs can miss an event when Discord, the bot, or a permission gets in the way. The service is provided without a promise that it will be uninterrupted, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, the bot owner is not liable for loss that comes from using or being unable to use Event Sentinel.
These terms and the Privacy Policy can be updated by publishing a new version on this site. The date at the top of the page is the date that version took effect. Continuing to use the bot or the dashboard after that date means you accept the updated terms.
Problems and questions can be raised in the Event Sentinel support server.
